One of the best things about being an illustrator is being able to create a personal gift from the stories and ideas people share with me for or about someone else! I am not sure who enjoys it more, the gift giver, the recipient or ME? Here are some I have enjoyed doing! Call me and let's talk!

A Healing Adventure (Print)

While in Albuquerque for the Annual Balloon festival, MaryAnn approached me about a gift for her sister in law! Through many conversations, this piece was created, to honor a journey, a trip, their friendship and a personal healing through the grief they shared! Having lost 'brother and husband' this celebrated that time for them. It was a beautiful surprise for Ginger! Not only did they order this but also note cards to send their friends and family!
Naming Them (Print)

A simple 'names' added to an existing design, is always welcome. Easy for me and affordable for you!
Lake Havasu Phone Book (Print)

Recently, I got the unique opportunity to be educated on the highly misunderstood and underrated Art of Phone Books! Lucky me! Truly! The Lake Havasu Phone Book (The Red one) is a big hit locally! The two women who created it...are dynamos! This was Julie's surprise birthday gift to Ginny! (They really are this tall and this short!) It was great fun, tho I had to jump through hoops to get it right, Ginny was speechless with the results! My favorite is the quail and the phoneless head set! I also included Sadie, Julie's cat, often a sleeping office fixture!
Paddle Wild (Print)

When I first started paddling, their was a core group who began together, we didn't really know what we were doing! This is still one of my favorite pieces. It became my own commission gift to 'friend and steers-person Carolyn Earley (the one that gratefully twisted my arm to become a part of this crazy thing, while promising not to let me drown.) Particularly sentimental now, as the blonde 'foo foo' woman climbing in, my friend Jennifer, has since passed on! She used to sign her emails 'lemme in the boat, Jen!'
Wild About Havasu (Print)

This design was a request for a potential Phone Book cover..might have actually made it, IF I lived in a different town... just, a little too funky for Havasu's 'snowbird' population! It seems, my stick figures...take some getting used to! So better yet, it was purchased by my friends Jan and Steve, who live right on the lake. And since this is the ONLY 'Wild Woman-man' I have ever done (and probably ever will)...it should be in the home of one of my favorite 'Wild Women-men' ...Steve!
Prints are available for Havasu lovers and residents!
Wildly Us (Print)

Sister Mary Janet and I. My best friends, who are also artists!
If you know us, you know our stories...'the tipsy chap stick girl, the snapping kangaroo, have you seen my keys, no but we have a purse' stories.
And our two dogs who are as crazy about us and we are about them and one another.
This was my gift to them for their support and humor the year 'I lost my mind!'  Without them I would STIll be wondering about somewhere between Tucson and Tempe...
(without my keys or purse!)
The Kiss

Was sitting in a sushi restaurant one night with a friend and someone I had known for awhile, decided she had waited long enough and what the hell?...I was thoroughly kissed! AND what fun I had with the commissioned painting about the moment.
Yep, that was a Wild one!
The Kiss (Original)
Price: $400.00

Acrylics on hand made Thai paper
18' x 24'
Story Sisters
Price: $595.00

Once upon a time there was a princess and a poet! And they shared  the magical enchantment of paper airplane poems, stone temple people, the big dipper, books, bubbles and a red nest. As well as a story of wonder and wisdom! This commission piece is a very personal to me and a keeper but also a great example of the story to be told in illustration form! Whats yours?
Wildly CATS

After the success of Wildly Oz design, which was raffled off last year to support our local theater in Lake Havasu! I could NOT resist the chance to create one for the performance of CATS! Tho I had never seen it myself and was challenged by the many versions and colors of cats in one design, this 32 x 48 canvas original was met with great excitement! When I did finally see the performance, I was mesmerized by the all the real singing dancing CATS!
