This poem is a coming of age one. It occupied my thoughts for a very long time and then took me two years of editing and reediting.  My goal was a celebration of getting older (yeah!) with clever words, that was word -smithing at it's best! It's a long one but worth the read. Eventually it will be produced in a gift size book for the perfect over 40 birthday present!
This poem is a masterpiece of word smithing. The only one that took me two years to write and I embraced its challenge greatfully!
